Mandate of SMK Berangan Principal 2008

                  

Grateful to Allah. Welcome back to accomplish our responsibilities in 2008. Optimistically that we are always improve our self and increase the quality of work with sincerity, honesty, effort and responsible to fulfil the client’s expectation and education vision in this school. 

Thank you and congratulation to all the committee of Management Book and friends who contribute in giving the ideas and comments in order to complete the book for this year. This foreshadowing the commitment and co-operation of friends in order to realize the effort of school administrator in sharing the ideas and advises through the publication of the management book. 

The theme of management book for this year is “Value the Traditions, Knowledge is Heighten” 

This theme is suitable with the country aspiration now days, build-up the humanism which have the moral value among the students. “When the root is support, the branch is lift up and the root to sprout, the branch will be fruity.” To make it realize, teacher’s commitments are most important for the success and effectiveness of the school. Teachers have the skills and professional, which teachers faced the students in any education activities. Hence, it is our responsibility to build up the best humanism which has intellectual, manner and personality. 

In order to strength the school plan, a JPN (State Education Board) program, Developing Kelantan’s Education 2006-2010 plan which the motto of the plan is Heed Education, Kelantan Prominent 2010. This plan will be as basis and premier direction to generate the school success in management, curriculum, students’ affair, co-curriculum, culture and school atmosphere. 

This plan as well will be the base to the education development of this school. Therefore, the plan must be comprehend, implement and occurrence by all the teachers. 

To realize it, the Headcount should be implement in this year, this program need to be launch in order to trace the students who week in subject and implement the strategy to overcome it. In this year, the JPN launched ‘Year of Audacity the Classroom 2008’. The purpose of this campaign is to make sure the teachers come to the school, go to the class, teaching, quality of teaching process and students learning. 

Agenda and our responsibility become more challenging. The country and community put a high expectation from us as a teacher. We need to awake from the comfort zone and strive to make changes and increase the productivity in organisation. We need to try hard to increase the performance of PMR and SPM in 2008. The future of our nation is in our hand. Hence, I advise to all the teachers to struggle in bringing up the new generation to be excellent in academic, manner and co-curriculum. 

In fact, this agreement is to carry out the heritage of ambiya to fulfil our mandate as caliph. We should strength the resolution to strengthen the excellent tradition which to hold the culture and intellectual. This excellent tradition has been proving in history as repetition of civilisation heritage.

a)      Increase academic performance and curriculum management-panitia

b)      Increase the PMR and SPM splendid in 2008

c)      Increase the accession of 2M basic skill

d)      Continue with the 60:40 policy

e)      Increase the PPSMI performance

1.1  Curriculum management - courage the panitia, organisation chart, file, meeting minute, exam analysis, declare the target, vision and mission, syllabus, exam result, display the time table at the strategic location, library 

1.2  Headcount – important agenda of KPM – post mortem: panitia role, students weaknesses – enrichment (A), strengthening (B>A), remedy (<D) – each test, objective question – weakness topic, more focus, follow by style, recognition, strengthening, praise, identify the potential students-target A, each students has performance graph-paste on the bulletin board

Weaknesses

2.5.1 Teacher is not come to the class

2.5.2 Not convey the teaching and learning process appropriately/not interesting/boring-

         old style

2.6 Conducive environment in class, attraction to come to the school, clean: rubbish,

      cheerful with flowers, decoration, safe, orderly, full equipment-fan, windows, clean,

      bulletin board full with information

2.7 Before teaching, make sure the cleanliness of the class, student attendance

2.8 Caring teacher/kind-hearted-cloze to the problematic students, communicate, stress

      the importance of loving culture, motivated 

 

3. Effectiveness of Teaching/Learning Process
